There are several options that you can tweak to allow for these slow connections. The Orquit option applies to the amount of time that the sending system will wait for an acknowledgment from the receiving system after the "QUIT" command has been sent. If an acknowledgment timeout occurs, the connection is dropped and the message is queued for redelivery.
