This one comes from my husband, who is working on attempting to connect
RMI (with backconnects) over one single port due to firewall constraints.
With the increasing prevalence of desktop firewalls, RMI's just not
working, but we want to eek as much out of it as we can without moving to
a new protocol.
WebLogic has an RMI implementation that can tunnel through HTTP firewalls.
