Hi! · Juergen Kreileder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
> Does it get better if you comment out all lines containing '.1' in > jre/lib/font.properties? Yes, it does! What's the purpose of those lines? For example, there is/was: serif.0=-b&h-lucidabright-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1 serif.1=--symbol-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-urw-fontspecific Is the serif.1 line only used, when I (or rather the program, I guess) am not using iso-8859-1? I *am* not using iso-8859-1, but UTF-8, according to my locale setting of LANG=de_DE.UTF-8. Thanks, Alexander Skwar -- Velilind's Laws of Experimentation: (1) If reproducibility may be a problem, conduct the test only once. (2) If a straight line fit is required, obtain only two data points. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
