Não me lembro disso ter acontecido comigo, mas aconselho a baixar a versão 2.1 release candidate. Um dos principais focos da nova versão é justamente performance. Exceto a tradução, que não utilizei, todos plugins que usei, pareceram funcionar normalmente. Um ou outro pode não funcionar, mas acho que vale a pena arriscar (mantenha a versão anterior instalada como garantia). Não testei os plugins a fundo, pois uso mais o wsad.
