Title: Test Engineer Location: Alexandria, VA Duration: 6 Month ***US CITIZEN ONLY*** Description: • The person will primarily support the Test group but will also work with the other teams on an as needed basis. • Must be able to write well for a variety of audiences both technical and non-technical. • Experience with IT documentation such as requirements docs, white papers, QA processes is required Major Duties & Responsibilities: • Create, edit, and maintain technical and non-technical documentation in support of client or Abacus program management including staff summary sheets, management reports, white papers, technical requirements and specifications, and user manuals. • Ensure that all documentation meets established QA standards and is written at a level suitable for the intended audience. • Collaborate with the client or technical teams to collect and interpret data and information provided by subject matter experts. • Create, edit, and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines under the guidance of the QA Manager. • Assist the QA Manager in performing quality assurance reviews. • Perform other duties as assigned by Abacus program management. Qualifications: • 5+ years experience in technical writing and support IT teams. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Able to demonstrate excellent writing and editing skills. • Must write clearly and effectively for both a technical and non-technical audience. • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies preferred. • Proficient with MS Office tools. • Solid customer service and communication skills are critical.
