Title: Lead Business Analyst Location: Secaucus, NJ Duration: 5 Months Project description [Lead CRM Business Analyst The Lead CRM Business Analyst is responsible for the requirements processes and business analyst resources supporting the requirements processes for the Global CRM project. The requirements processes include elicitation, analysis, specification, validation, change control and traceability. The lead must be able to facilitate globally and organizationally diverse stakeholders to agreements on scope. The lead must ensure the business analyst team is efficiently utilized to meet committed timelines and that the team is producing high quality requirements deliverables. The lead will be responsible for reporting progress and issues to the Project and Product Managers.] Description of day to day tasks [The Lead Business Analyst is expected to lead the requirements team to ensure the following: Transform understanding of project scope and business case into the project vision document Establish and document the business analysis plan including stakeholder identification/classification, business analysis activities, business analysis communication and the requirements management process Lead requirements elicitation activities ensuring appropriate use of techniques such as facilitated workshops, interviews, observation, task analysis, documentation study and surveys Lead requirements analysis activities ensuring that behavioral models (e.g. process maps, use cases etc.), structural models (e.g. business rules, data model), dynamic models (e.g. state diagrams, class diagrams) and control models (e.g. decision tables, event-response table) are used appropriately Lead capture of non-functional requirements including external interfaces (user, hardware and software), quality attributes (e.g. performance, reliability, maintainability etc.) and constraints (e.g. operating system, hardware, software etc.) Requirements are prioritized, maintain enhancement log and assist in project change control process Requirements are allocated and traced appropriately. Support verification, quality assurance and development activities which may include reviewing test scenarios and/or design documentation to ensure requirements compliance.] Additional Information: Desired Educational or Professional Candidate background: [The candidate must possess between 5-7 years of Software Lifecycle Development experience, with the majority of that experience in business analysis. The candidate should have exposure to custom development and package implementations. The candidate should be accustomed to working in large IT organizations using matrixed project staffing models.
