Job Description: Due to continued workload and requirements, GGSG-IT is seeking a resource for our Secure Computing Team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment that requires the candidate to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a variety of internal clients. The candidate will serve as Secure Systems Administrator for Cisco's Global Government Solutions Group (GGSG) IT for Windows, Unix, and Linux Servers and Desktop systems and network. The Consultant will perform duties to maintain compliance with US Government NISPOM and DCID directives including system backups, automated scanning tools, and operating system audit reviews. The Consultant will assist in supporting account, environment, systems issues with the servers and applications specific to the GGSG-IT environment as well as network administration. Skill Set and Requirements: Required: Background in Unix and Linux systems administration. Solaris and Redhat preferred. Apache and Tomcat configuration and support Symantec/Veritas NetBackup server management Email systems mail routing and client support issues.
