Please go through the requirement and send me your resume if you think you are comfortable with the requirement Title: Technical Writer Location: NYC, NY Duration: 6 Months Specific Responsibilities: * Generate requirements materials for Aperture Vista System dependency documentation * Inventory data migration across all regions and sites * System Integration (for Tier 1 and Tier 2 systems as outlined in the POC scope of work) * Flow processes for core operational functions * System support * User Guides/ training matierals * BAU functionality for the global Data Center Operations teams (equipment move, add, change entries and updates) * Server placement functionality * Reporting functionality (canned and custom queries) * Support materials (run book) * Establish and own the user feedback loop for the duration of the POC Skills Required * Self starter- able to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to requirements/ overall program. * Capable of translating dense and complex material into easy to digest, visually impactful materials * Capable of translating technical language to easy to digest 'basic' text * Demonstrates initiative when presented with potential obstacles * Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks/ deliverables with minimal supervision * Should enjoy fast paced work environment and client focused attitude. * Collaborative - capable of working effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions, roles and able to interact effectively with all levels. * Strong communication skills essential- both verbal and written * Ability to deal with difficult situations/ individuals gracefully * Technical depth/ appreciation of standard Financial Services Industry platforms/ Data Center environments * Technical appreciation of Aperture Vista would be considered a bonus Experience: * Bachelor Degree Education Level * Minimum 8 Years relevant industry experience (Data Center technology / environment / system documentation) * Proven track record in documentation in the following- technical products, training, user guides, system dependency materials * Proven track record in communication/ training/ presentation of material to large audiences * Experience with product Aperture Vista nice to have Monty Singh Technical Recruiter Ask IT Consulting You Ask We Deliver!
