Title: UNIX/LINUX and Apache Server Admins
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 Months
The consultant should be local to MA
Requirements:
o At least five (5) years of experience developing and supporting web site
services
o Experience with the following technologies:
Required
• Extensive experience installing and configuring Apache web server
• Thorough understanding of Linux
• Writing scripts to automate processes
• Experience with SSL and SFTP
• Knowledge of load balancers, logging, security, user account configuration
Additional
• Browser technologies and standards, IE, Firefox, Safari
• Experience managing a content management system
• Search technologies
• Streaming server technology
• HTML, XML, Javascript, PHP
• MySQL, Oracle
• Web networking standards
Operations and support of the mission critical web site technologies in a
7x24 environment
Ability to manage complex technical projects independently
Installing new services, including configuring and administration tasks
Assisting with design and implementation of system standards, such as naming
and directory structures
Implementing and supporting search technologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage changes to existing systems and
implementation of new services
Must have BA or BS degree
