Title: .Net Architect Location: Midtown, NJ Duration: 3 Months Only Architect is workable not developer Job Description Summary The Technical Architect (TA) role combines the ability to design enterprise-class web applications with a strong background in digital marketing, eCRM, or related fields. In addition, you must be able to architect scalable, high-performance, connected systems in both .Net and J2EE, utilizing a variety of application servers, DBMSs and content management platforms. The tools commonly utilized by the TA are MS Visio, Visual Studio, and Eclipse. The scope of the role extends from pre-sales support with both existing and prospective clients, through the project life cycle. The TA contributes heavily to technical aspects of the Requirements Specification, and owns the Technical Design Specifications on applicable projects. In addition, the TA provides oversight through production and deployment to ensure that the technical design has been implemented properly by the development teams. The TA will also collaborate closely with peers in the Creative, User Experience (UX), Rich Media, Project Management, Strategic Planning, and Client Services groups. In addition, you will commonly be asked to present directly to clients as well as facilitate on-site work sessions with relevant stakeholders. You must have excellent written communication skills as the ability to visually represent technical architectures in clear, substantive diagrams. Candidate Requirements • Demonstrated experience producing consumer-facing web applications in both .Net (ASP.Net/C#) and Java (JSP/Struts). • Experience in facilitating meetings with project stakeholders to capture and analyze requirements • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications • Experience in logical data design • Experience with ORM techniques • Experience designing schemas for XML • Experience in transforming XML data using XSLT or LINQ • Experience in designing distributed, service-oriented architectures. • Experience in building and consuming web services and related technologies such as SOAP (Web Services) and REST. • Familiarity with a variety of RIA platforms (Flash and Silverlight) and how they are typically integrated into connected digital marketing campaigns. • Familiarity with dynamic languages such as PHP, Python and Ruby. • Should have a strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with common AJAX frameworks (ASP.Net AJAX, jQuery, Prototype) is extremely beneficial.
