Seeking an experienced Java developer to work on implementing an open
architecture fixed income trading platform. Target deliverable is an open
and competitive fixed income marketplace that can be accessed by the MSSB
sales force. Projects will include ECN connectivity, market data capture and
aggregation, order routing, and price inquiry capabilities.
The candidate needs to be motivated and self-directed, and able to handle
all aspects of the technology development life cycle. In addition, the
candidate will be required to work closely with the business, and will
require strong problem solving and communication skills.

ECN connectivity
Strong Java and web service skills
Messaging middleware such as Websphere MQ
Database experience; DB2 a plus
FIX Protocol
In-memory or time-series databases
Experience with open source frameworks including Hibernate and
Spring
Knowledge of fixed income products
