*Job Title : Cognos Developer/Analyst Location : MD Duration : 1-2 Years Rate : 40/Hr* *Must have all Skills: Cognos, Data modeling, Business analysis, KPI design* Position Description: The Cognos Developer/Analyst, along with a project team, will modify and enhance the existing client*s Data Warehouse to increase performance, reporting capabilities, and add new kinds of longitudinal educational data to the data warehouse. This position is both a designer and developer position dealing with state-of-the-art technologies, databases, reporting systems, web-portals, and 3-GL and 4-GL languages. Minimum Qualifications: -Education - BS or MS in computer science or information systems. -Verifiable Training/Certifications in: o COGNOS reports, alerts, dashboard, and metadata design and development o Data modeling ERD and dimensional models for highly conformed data marts o Business analysis o KPI design -General Work Experience: 4+ years developing COGNOS dashboards and reports, and performing systems business and requirements analysis on data warehouse development projects. -General Industry Experience: K-12 or Higher Education industry preferred. -Communication Skills: Fluent in speaking and writing English.
