Title: Siebel QA Analyst Location: NYC, NY Duration: 6 Months Mandatory Requirements: 1. A minimum of 4 years experience in testing of large-scale enterprise applications; 2. A minimum of 2 years experience in testing of Siebel applications 3. familiarity with XML files/editors 4. knowledge of basic Unix commands 5. ability to create SQL queries and work with TOAD 6. Knowledge of Siebel a) fundamentals of MQ b) experience with SOA c) ability to gather statistics, create performance matrix, plan and analyze system performance d) Perform end-to-end test process for complex enterprise solutions; e) Work closely with project managers and project team to provide testing timelines; Participate in the early phases of projects to ensure that inputs into testing process can be translated into a test plan and test cases; f) Design test plans for projects and work with project teams to obtain approval; g) Work closely with project teams to understand solution requirements and generate test scripts and perform test analysis; h) Execute all functional and performance tests according to test plans and scripts, document results, and quickly identify and troubleshoot issues; i) Ascertaining performance & scalability requirements for each release j) Conduct performance tuning in different categories: network, system, platform and application k) Help to develop testing artifacts (scripts, monitors, scenarios, ) l) Diagnose complicated performance issues based on analysis of performance tests execution results (Load, Stress, Scalability) and come up with recommendation for solution m) Run performance benchmark tests n) Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; o) Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; p) Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project; q) Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance. 7. Must be able to provide documentation on their work Desirable Experience: 1. A Masters degree in Computer Science, or Mathematics is desired; 2. Knowledge of BPM Engines and business activity monitoring 3. Knowledge web services, SOAP UI load script creation 4.
