May be utilized to increase the capability of the discipline * *across the organization.9-13 years experience as an architect. Typical education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, * *or other technical field. Advanced degree is expected. * * * *Knowledge and Skills: * *• Demonstrated ability to effectively document and present technical concepts. * *• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability with software lifecycle development methodologies such * *as Rational Unified Process (RUP) and other agile methodologies (e.g., XP, SCRUM) as well as rational tools like * *clearcase and clearquest. * *• Extensive knowledge and technical foundation in object oriented analysis and design and design patterns. * *• Extensive knowledge and skills in implementation technologies such as JBoss Platform, Websphere or Weblogic. * *• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in technical platforms such as J2EE and database technologies such as Oracle. * *• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in programming languages: Java, scripting, XML, data definition and manipulation (DDL, SQL). * *• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, and Windows. * *• Strong knowledge and skills in web services architecture including web services standards like WSDL, WS-Security and WS-Policy is a plus. * *•Strong experience with Enterprise Service Bus concepts. * *•Strong experience with queuing technologies like IBM Websphere MQ, JBoss Messaging or ActiveMQ. * *•Experience with design patterns and UML. * * * *Education/Experience * *Required Experience: * *Design, implementation, and support of java (minimum 8 years). * *Design, implementation, and support of J2EE (minimum 6 years). * *Experience working with service oriented architecture (minimum 3 years). * *Object-oriented design (minimum 6 years). * *Experience working with Oracle (minimum 3 years). * * * *Nice to have: * *Experience working with Java Web front end technologies like JSF and AJAX.
