Title: E-Commerce UI Developer Location: Delray Beach, FL Duration: 6 Months • Expert level Front End Application Developer to work on high-visibility, large scale, best-in-class Web 2.0 Global e-commerce sites. Team player with expert knowledge in CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, (X)HTML and XML is required. SKILLS: • Three or more years experience of UI development in an e-commerce / software development environment. Must have experience with CSS, D/XHTML, JAVASCRIPT, JSP, 508, W3C, WAI, AJAX - (jQuery/DWR) a plus JOB DESCRIPTION: • Unique opportunity for a dynamic expert level e-commerce UI developer to join a highly motivated team of e-commerce professionals, responsible for delivering high-volume, multi-national e-commerce sites. The developer will be a key player in a team that drives innovation and introduces new/advanced technologies to e-commerce sites globally. Team player with expert knowledge in CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, (X)HTML and XML is required. Experience using jQuery and DWR libraries is a definite plus. Candidate must be highly proficient in cross-browser development, and must demonstrate strong creative skills in developing and implementing a great user experience. Candidate will have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: • At least 2-3+ years experience hand-coding D/XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS (standards compliant) • Some experience using JSP and Eclipse IDE • Experience working with versioning and bug tracking programs. • AJAX experience a must, with JQuery and DWR a plus * Some Experience with XML • Experience developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM implementations, etc. • Experience developing accessible websites (Section 508, W3C WAI Guidelines, etc.) * Strong attention to detail. • Strong written & oral communication skills. • Team participation skills.
