The resource will take direction from the Project Support Lead and the senior technical resources on the team to perform tactical support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, developing bug fixes, engaging appropriate resources within GTS and making recommendations for improvements. The candidate must possess adept problem solving skills, exhibit strong customer service and communication skills, and demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency when addressing production issues. On call responsibilities are required. *PROJECT:* The position provides production support of Institutional & GBS&T applications that are integrated with DB2, Oracle, and SQL databases. The applications service both our internal and external clients. The applications are tier one and considered critical to client’s business. The applications cover a variety of technologies including web sphere, java, portal, shared service integration.
