Title: .Net Developer Location: Overland Park, NY Duration: 6 Months The consultant should be local Tri-State Job Summary The Programmer Analyst is responsible for providing quality application solutions with a high degree of customer service. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. General areas of responsibility include: • Design, Code and Test systems solutions based on requirement specifications • Review and interpret business requirements document • Maintain system documentation (both within the code and within technical design documents) to enable ease of analysis for future development • Participates in the planning, design, development, and implementation of information solutions to address business opportunities • Develop web-based applications using Microsoft Development technologies and a variety of database platforms. • Analyze System issues and design, code and test system solutions which will resolve the issue • Analyze requirements and determine how it will affect new or existing systems Understanding of software development life cycle. • Create a positive and professional business relationship Accountabilities • Design, Code and Testing of systems solutions based on requirement specifications • Analyze issues and Design, Code and Test system solutions which will resolve the issue Qualifications Technical knowledge and documented experience including: • BS Degree in computer science or engineering related field, a related field such as Mathematics or Physical Sciences, or equivalent experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Working knowledge of SDLC, object oriented design and analysis skills and other general system concepts such as arrays, collections, data types, web services, SOA, etc • 5-10 years of software development experience (would look at less years of experience for a Programmer Analyst position instead of a Sr level) • 3-5 years of strong experience with .NET framework (Visual Basic, ASP.NET) • Experience in Microsoft Technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation, XAML and MVVM architecture • Strong SQL skills, including proficiency using Stored Procedures and views • Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 or any relational database • Expert experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA&D) with good understanding of design patterns • Ability to work with team members to understand the business requirements and to assist with the development of effective solutions to meet the client’s needs • Sound knowledge in architecting, designing and implementing SOA and Web Services based projects • Knowledge of software development methodologies • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines • Work in WIC or public health program development environment a plus • Ability to work in a team environment • Prior experience working in an iterative development process is preferred but not required Thanks & Regards Monty Singh Technical Recruiter Ask IT Consulting You Ask We Deliver!
