The Test Lead Candidate is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive Quality Assurance / Test Strategy, Functional Test Plan, Performance Test Plan. Operational Test Plan as well as environments and tool implementation for manual or automated testing required to support an emerging Department of Defense business system. He/she will support the leveraging of existing test cases, develop new and efficient test cases that validate all documented business requirements, and has the ability to perform and execute test cases and validation of the test case results for the product under test. This candidate will work collaboratively with both technical and business project team members to resolve issues and ensure the test effort is on schedule. The candidate in this position will be responsible for overseeing project based personnel in the planning,development and execution of the Testing phase of the project's SDLC. The candidate will effectively utilize resources and the environment for projects under the test cycle, coordinate user test planning and execution and oversee development of test plans and test cases and the execution of the test plans ensuring they are in line with the project requirements. Education Level Required (minimum): Bachelor's Degree CSTE, Certified Software Test Engineer, Certification a Plus Technical Skills/Certifications Required; Expert knowledge of test methodologies and a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle in a government environment Knowledge of DoD Test and Evaluation policies and procedures is preferred. Hands-on experience with Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, ReqPro, ClearCase, ClearQuest, HP/Mercury QTP & LoadRunner, MS Access, SQL Query Job Responsibilities (list in order of priority) 1. Develop program test plan, including coordination with external organizations 2. Coordinate development of comprehensive test strategies, including test scenarios, cases, and scripts 3. Development of project plans and work breakdown structures to support test plan 4. Provide guidance to Government Leads regarding taskings for other contractors 5.
