Job Title : *Network Engineer with Juniper* Location : Philadelphia , PA Duration : Long Term *THIS CANDIDATE NEEDS VERY STRONG JUNIPER and JUNIPER NETSCREEN FIREWALL experience* *Day-to-Day* The Network Engineer will design, implement, and document various networking services. The scope of the position’s engineering responsibilities include the ongoing design of the IP network, Internet access network, IP routing architecture, and managed service offerings. *Required Skills :* •Minimum of either CCNA, CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or JNCIP (Juniper Networks Certified Internetworking Professional) certification •Advanced knowledge of layer-2 network design and protocols including frame-relay, ATM, Ethernet, SONET, DWDM, and Frame Relay •Advanced knowledge of routed and routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Multicast, RSVP/LDP, MPLS in a Service Provider environment •Knowledge of Service Provider network offerings including RFC2547bis L3VPNs, Kompella L2VPNs, VPLS •3 to 5 years experience in network design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting in an enterprise network environment *Day to Day Duties:* 25% Support existing WAN and enterprise network infrastructure, including design, implementation, migrations, documentation, and decommissioning 25% Perform network architecture reviews and develop detailed engineering designs and deployment plans 15% Optimize WAN services to achieve enhancements in performance and availability while simultaneously achieving cost reduction 10% Analyze and recommend contemporary and emerging technology for deployment, including but not limited to: SIP, CDN, Unified communications, network consolidation, access integration, etc 10% Conduct training for technical support personnel.
