*Duration: 6 Months*



*Position Description:*

Involved in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
including requirements analysis, application design, development, and
testing to development the DoD NOTAM Portal.



*Roles/Responsibilities: *

• Involved in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
including requirements analysis, application design, development, and
testing.

• Problem-solving, goal oriented, willing to learn new technologies

• Excellent verbal and written communication ability

• Positive attitude toward work and other people, team player



*Requirements:*

• US Citizen.

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years experience in Java & J2EE (Java 1.5 or higher preferred)
development using Spring Framework, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, JMS, Servlets,
JSP, EJB, Web Services, SOAP.

• 3+ years of experience in Web development frameworks and technologies:
Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow, Struts, XML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX,
FLEX.

• 2+ years of experience ANT, Maven, and JUnit.

• 2+ Years of experience in OOA, OAD and UML.

• Strong knowledge of application server (JBoss, Weblogic or IBM Wesphere).

• Strong knowledge of - Java Development tools (IDEs, SVN, and CVS).

• Strong experience with relational database (PostreSQL/Oracle).

• Fluency with Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Good communications skills.



*Nice to have:*

• Experience with Web application security standards and implementation.

• Experience with GWT and JSF.

• Experience with Portal/Portlet development.

• Experience with Groovy and Grai.

• Experience with CAC authentication.
