Requirements:

· BS or MS degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering and a
minimum of 5 years relevant experience
**
· High speed (>100MHz) *FPGA design experience using Verilog or VHDL
*
**
· Simulation experience using Aldec Riviera, Mentor Graphics
Modelsim, or similar tools
**
· *Experience using Xilinx or Altera FPGA devices* and
implementation tools, as well as tools such as Synopsys Synplify
**
· Version control experience using Clearcase, Subversion, CVS or
similar tools
**
· Working knowledge of OTN G.709, including OTU1, OTU2, OTU3, and
OTU4.
**
· Working knowledge of SONET , SDH , and PDH.
**
· Knowledge of 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet
(GBE), 10G Ethernet, Fibre Channel (FC), and IP protocol.
**
· General purpose microprocessor and DSP systems, high-speed digital
board design, PLL design,
**
and analog signal conditioning experience a plus
