*Java Developer* Location: *Boston, MA* Duration: *2.5 months* *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* This person will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of software written in Java using various open source products. This includes but isn't limited to Apache ServiceMix, Camel, CXF, and JMS solutions. This candidate will be expected to create real deliverable estimates for a given set of functionality. Finally, the ideal candidate will have experience producing and maintaining production code. He or she will have a good understanding of network issues that arise from SOA and SOAP/REST based services. *Responsibilities:* Participate in full software development life cycle for Enterprise Software Services Responsible for designing and implementing web service code to support Commonwealth Enterprise Initiatives Implement code, maintain and troubleshoot web services to be deployed in Enterprise ESB and IBM XML Gateway appliance Implement code, maintain and troubleshoot JUnit tests for existing and new programming code Implement code, maintain and troubleshoot Java code for execution inside of JScape Server processes Implement code, maintain and troubleshoot message based enterprise solutions using IBM Websphere MQ Server Extend the use of existing enterprise patterns for Interchange/ESB to support various multi-protocol translations and service routing algorithms Implement code, maintain and troubleshoot the creation of security compliant encryption modules for us within the Interchange solution Participate in on-boarding customers and configuring new Interchange services Migrate functionality from existing XI50 Data Power appliances to XB60 appliances for SAI Infrastructure where appropriate *Qualification: Include a detailed description of the experience and skills required. Use additional space if needed.* * * · Java, DotNet, XML, XSLT, JMS (Java Messaging), JPA, ORM, and shell scripting (bash and ksh) · Oracle PSQL and Microsoft SQL Server TranactSQL · Proficiency with the following frameworks and libraries: Apache Camel, Apache CXF, Apache ServiceMix, Apache Log4J, JUnit, Apache Ant · Experience working with Netbeans and Eclipse IDE's · Experience working with multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows, AIX) · Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and best practices · Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus technologies - IBM Datapower Appliance (XI50, XB60) highly desired · Experience with source code control tools, defect tracking and testing tools (e.g. SVN, JIRA, Rational Jazz Suite, Maven) I look forward to hear from you and hope that I can be a help in your job quest.
