*IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* *Job Description:* The incumbent of this position acts as a Business Analyst by performing activities related to the documentation and training to support the needs of the Shared Application Infrastructure Team in conformity with customer and ITD standards and procedures and performing related duties as required. Understanding the business owner’s needs, translating them into clear specifications, determining viable solutions and ensuring that the solution is correct are the key responsibilities of this role. Demonstrating service excellence, a pro-active and collaborative approach to service delivery, and a strong customer focus are all mandatory for the incumbent of this role. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem solving, an aptitude for picking up new skills and an ability to make sense of technical and business concepts. *Responsibilities* ·Gain an understanding of the technical architecture and all components of the assigned applications ·Ensure that documentation meets business needs ·Issue tracking and follow up ·Communications coordination ·Keep up to date on job related technical issues, new trends, and product directions and be a resource for other team members ·Design and develop solutions that clearly address the business objectives identified ·Research and documentation of findings ·Test case development ·Business process documentation ·Meeting facilitation and coordination including scheduling, supporting, and taking meeting minutes *Qualification: Include a detailed description of the experience and skills required. Use additional space if needed.* ·Excellent problem solving skills ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·A general understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns and development methodologies ·Minimum 4+ years application development. Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, SOA, advanced design patterns, and Web services preferred. ·Aptitude for learning new skills ·Good research and writing skills ·UML experience beneficial ·Experience with the design and execution of test and use cases ·Project management experience desirable ·Excellent interviewing and facilitation skills for gathering detailed, comprehensive requirements ·Must be able to work as part of a team I look forward to hear from you and hope that I can be a help in your job quest.
