*IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks: •Reports to the GIC CIO and MAGIC Modernization Project Manager •Analyze data requirements for the new online enrollment and health benefit maintenance application. Document logical data model based on discussions with key business and information system team members. •Meet with key business functional team members to gather detailed business requirements and to document these business requirements using business analytical techniques such as Workflow Analysis and Use Case Analysis. •Meet with Information Systems team to discuss business requirements and document functional requirements and system specifications for the best system solution for each project initiative. •Assist Project Manager in presenting solutions to GIC Management for feedback and approval. •Work with business team to develop and document acceptance test plans and detailed test scripts. Requirements: •5+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst that has performed the above tasks. •Apply problem solving and technical research skills to resolve design gaps. •Experience with defining requirements for large customer self-service applications on the web. •Experience with GUI web screen design optimized for self service customer functions. •Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Tools (VISIO, PowerPoint, MS Word, Access, Excel) •Familiarity with self-service internet applications for user acquisition of products/services and their associated back office business workflow. Apply concepts to systems design. •Experience with Business Analysis documentation techniques for workflow, data design, and GUI screen design. •Experience with designing and implementing end user reporting using common industry reporting tools such as Crystal. •Familiarity with SQL and data mining in a SQL relational database. •Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills. •Experience developing and assisting users in test plans. •Ability to conceptualize new technical solutions and processes to better achieve business requirements. Preferred Qualifications: •Any industry application design experience related to implementation of automated self service internet applications. •Knowledge or experience in imaging/document management technology helpful. •Experience in technical development of web screens for customer facing applications using Visual Studio, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets •Ability to learn new technologies as applied to business requirements.
