*Senior JAVA Programmer (Govt Experience Is A Must!!)* Location: *Annapolis, MD* Duration: *3 yrs contract* *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* *Experience:* - Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to document and verbalize ideas to both technical and non-technical employees - Demonstrated experience designing and successfully implementing large-scale, n-tiered systems in a matrix team environment - Demonstrated project management and analytical skills - A minimum of three years of experience as a systems design specialist - Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of software development life cycle processes and procedures - Must are: Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience working with *Java, swing, XML, XSSL, J2EE, UML, Object oriented design and Oracle application and database servers* - The application is web based, written in *Java, with an Oracle back-end database*. - Input manual citations in a production environment - Support for bug fixes and programmatic changes that may be needed - Problem isolation and trouble shooting as they come on board with new applications - Maintain the application development, test and production environment - Maintain the version and bug reporting database and other systems - Support for the applications that are now in production and version and patch release support *Education:* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or five years of equivalent experience in a related field. Or a Master's Degree is preferred. *JAVA developer certification* for the JAVA Designer Programmer.
