Position: *Testing Coordinator Pls Reply to tji...@ibisint.com* Description: The Testing Coordinator will work with the Testing Manager to establish software testing processes and perform ongoing coordination of testing activities against those processes for a major foreign exchange system upgrade at a large financial institution. Duration: One Year Minimum (might be placed @ Pittsburgh for 6 months and then @ NewYork or might continue to be @ Pittsburgh itself) Activities Include: · Work with other constituencies in the bank to establish Systems Integration, Functional Readiness, and User Acceptance Test technical environments to support testing. · Review and approve software test plans and test cases from development teams per Systems Development Life Cycle standards. · Coordinate simultaneous testing activities in Systems Integration, Functional Readiness, and User Acceptance Test environments per a predefined testing framework. Involves working with many constituencies during the testing process, including the project software development team, software vendor, interfacing application system contacts, and business stakeholders in multiple locations. · Manage the activities of the Testing Administrator, who oversees the documentation of system requirements, test cases, test case to requirement traceability, test execution, and defect management in Hewlett-Packard Quality Center testing software. Candidate Must: · Possess strong interpersonal skills · Have 5-8+ years experience with software testing and Systems Development Life Cycle processes · Be able to work with multiple testing constituencies and diplomatically facilitate resolution when objectives compete. · Be a proponent of strong testing standards and policies, used appropriately.
