Location: *Boston, MA* Duration: *12 months contract* Rate:*$59 on c2c/1099* *In Person Interview Is Required For This Opening!!!!* *Primary Responsibilities* • Assist in establishing preliminary project/program alignment with strategies and business plans. • Generate conceptual business architectures, process and process improvement models Business Service definitions. • Evaluate and recommend utilization of industry standard or regulatory driven semantic process, service and data models. • Develop current state, transition state and end state business models • Serve as a point lead for Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Solutions Architects to provide clear guidance around process and service definitions and principles. • Assist in establishing SOA project scopes and documenting SOA initiatives. • Assist with setting the direction in defining the standards and the approach to leveraging SOA services and deploying the SOA governance mechanisms. • Ensure Service definition consistency, accuracy, and promote reuse through enterprise requirements assessments. • Develop requirements documentation for the Business Service Processes (BSPs) based upon a standard framework and requirements. • Utilize UML and BPMN modeling tools as well as Industrial Engineering (IE) and other process improvement techniques to create comprehensive and efficient designs. • Provide subject matter expertise based on past experiences with process engineering and process improvement • Translate business strategies and plans into a Business Architecture and assist leadership in the development of the implementation prioritization roadmap. • Facilitate business management and governance of the Business Architecture, roadmap and Business Process and Service sign off. • Assist business with understanding the alignment of the business architecture with the business strategies and plans and help communicate the alignment to senior leadership. • Ensure that functional, non-functional and enterprise requirements are incorporated into all approved and published system requirement documents. • Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation planning of the solution from initiation through delivery. *Key capabilities:* • Working knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) Architectures and Platforms. • Must have demonstrable experience implementing Business Architecture driven solutions. • Must be fluent with BPMN 1.2 and higher, UML and Service Registry and Repository systems. • Strong business functional and non-functional requirements gathering and documentation skills. • Experience in writing approach documents, white papers, and design documents. • Communication and organization skills to influence mediate and/or persuade business participants and Senior Business Management in a credible and confident manner at all levels in the organization especially on technical issues to a mixed developer audience. • Ability to effectively communicate new and innovative solutions to complex problems. • Understanding and experience applying de facto and industry standard methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, SOMA, RUP) • IT and Business strategic planning experience. • Familiarity with State government procurement and funding processes. • Ability to explains/presents highly complex ideas to Business and IT. • Anticipates potential objections/barriers and prepares the case accordingly. • Influences others through leadership and inspiration. • Acts as a facilitator and mentor and motivates cross-functional and virtual teams. • Creates formal networks internally and externally.
