*Job Role: Senior Java Developer * *Work Location: Richmond, VA* *Duration: 12 Months* *Interview Mode: Telephonic* *Position Description * About Investor Reporting II (IR2): Investor Reporting 2 is a large-scale, high-performance transaction mortgage and loan processing system and will be used to support the Home Affordable Modification initiatives. The application is being developed using proven technologies, including PL/SQL, ORACLE, Ab-Initio and Java in complex combinations following established and proven methodologies and practices for the development of large scale technology systems. The purpose is to processing modified mortgages to support foreclosure prevention. The project team will adhere to aggressive timelines and goals. *About the Team:* The IR2 Tools/Shared Services Team develops, maintains and supports tools, utilities, scripts and applications which help projects in areas of application deployment, technical/business operations, development build & testing, and baseline releases. The team is also responsible in development and support of project’s shared functionalities and infrastructure components. The team is consisting of developers possessing variety of technical skills and experiences and values versatility, flexibility and commitment. *About the position*: The Senior Developer will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, and Deployment Setup for various applications/modules/projects. The candidate will follow and complies with Client’s SDLC processes for any software/system development activities. The candidate also will lead or participate in the project management activities (planning, status reporting & execution of the plan) for the full lifecycle of software development. Besides the development projects, the Senior Developer will have responsibilities in maintaining and supporting team components including infrastructure components, deployment tools or operation tools/utilities. Versatility is important to this position. Java/J2EE is the essential required skills. However, strong Unix experiences and proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL are must-have as well. Knowledge of system architecture, automation, and application deployment is big plus.
