*Location: Palo Alto, CA*

*Duration: 6 months*

*Competencies:
*• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 to 7 years programming/test development work/industry experience

• Excellent in Java, J2EE; experienced in C/C++ programming is a plus
• Experience in Testing Web services / API using SOAPUI / JUnit. Experience
with Selenium and other automation tools.
• Python, Perl scripting
• Software Engineering (QA methodologies)
• Test Automation
• Good communications skills (verbal & written) in English
• Self motivated and be able to work independently
• Willing to adapt to changes and a fast learner
• Good team player

*Big Plus
*• Experience with Scala Programing language and testing Web services or API
written with Scala.

*Someone who had been a Java developer and worked on SOA based projects and
moved on to QA role will be ideal as long as he is still familiar with
Java/J2ee development.

*Need someone that is very good in testing Web applications developed in
Java/JS and deployed on Apache/Tomcat. They should also be familiar with
REST based API testing. Automation experience with Junit and Perl/Python is
required

Good Webservices API testing skills and preferably with Java background.
Added plus would be if someone has very good knowledge about test frameworks
and knows how to setup automation for the API testing as well.
(Strong Java candidate, who can do API testing)
