12+ month duration This position is responsible for the development of embedded software for control systems products within our Building Efficiency business.
*RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES *• Part of a team responsible for the development of embedded software for products in accordance with our Software Development Process; • Participating in the development of software requirements specifications; • Coordinating and participating in software design and code reviews/inspections; • Implementation of software designs for our controller product line; • Supporting existing software for the controller product line; • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and budgets; • Documenting and archiving software program releases in accordance with the Software Development Process. *REQUIREMENTS *This person must have exceptionally good software design and programming skills *in C/C++.* Must have a strong working knowledge of real-time design and embedded operating systems. *We require a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline with 5+ years of software engineering experience.** Knowledge of the entire product development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment) is needed.
