Job Title: PL/SQL Developer Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6 months Interview: Phone and Face to Face** · Need to have an expert level knowledge of Pl/SQL and relational data objects · They need to be able to understand data at a business level (ie not just someone who can code the data because someone told them to) · He said to ask them what is the difference between a having clause and a Where clause? (They should be able to answer this without struggling) · They should have some finance experience · They are NOT looking for someone to just man the SQL Loader (He indicated that many resumes he's been seeing have been that type of profile) · The project involves rewriting denormalized data into a normalized database (The interview will involve rewriting denormalized data into a normalized form on a white board) · Ideally the person will be able to write stored procedures once the data has been moved from their current database to the normalized database, which he described as more of a core infrastructure instead of a Syloid database which they are running right now · The candidate needs to be able to understand Normalization and can get through a SQL example · Rewrite the denormalized data and migrate the data into their central database.
