*Provide senior technical leadership.  Work with both the Operations and
Development teams - Provide insight to development teams with regard to
operational/administrative concerns during the development lifecycle and
lead efforts around application deployment design; support Operations team
to triage Operational application and or configuration issues, capacity
planning and best practices.*

*Qualifications:***

* *

*This position requires the ability to document clear sets of standards,
processes and procedures for the application server environment.*

Principal Accountability:*

* *

   - *Tomcat Server/Application Administration and Tuning *
   - *Application Performance Monitoring and Tuning *
   - *Weblogic Server *
   - *JAVA Virtual Machine tuning and optimizations *
   - *Experience with using/administering the following technologies –
   Linux, Load Balancers, LDAP, Web Servers, DNS etc *
   - *Application Deployments *
   - *Ant Scripting *
   - *Scripting (Perl/Pyhton/Shell …) *
   - *Evaluate new technologies *
   - *Capacity Planning *
   - *Make infrastructure design recommendations – virtualization *
   - *Streamline J2EE administrative processes *
   - *Perform problem analysis – Understanding Java Stack Traces and Thread
   Dumps *
   - *Identify application reliability issues and make fixes where
   appropriate. *
   - *Provide Documentation and Design for best practices  *
   - *7-10+ years experience *
