Position: Microstrategy Developer (F2F) required Location:NYC,NY Duration:3+months Rate:550/day (corp to corp ) Job Description: SQL Server – experience of 5+ years. Knows SQL query writing and optimizations. Microstrategy – 5-7 yrs. experience. Knows how to create reports and knows how to use the administrative tools with Microstrategy Experience working with users – e.g., sales, marketing . Excellent communication skills needed- they will be interacting wit the business side Moving from crystal to Microstrategy – need strong SQL server and Microstrategy Business Intelligence Developer – MIS reporting participate in database and report development projects. This individual will develop reports in Microstrategy, SQL stored procedures, work with SSIS packages, and ad hoc data mining queries, Finance and other business teams. The Business Intelligence Developer will also participate in reporting related activities with regard to Trading system and Operations system releases. This position requires that the candidate have an excellent understanding of relational database concepts and reporting tools. Responsibilities: Develops reports in Microstrategy and has the ability to understand underlying data model. Have an understanding of Microstrategy Desktop, Integrity Manager, Command Manager, and Enterprise Manager. Develops reporting and data warehousing solutions in support of cross-functional project teams. Works directly with business analysts to ensure technical feasibility of all MIS related designs. Conducts adhoc data mining in support of the business. Makes technical recommendations to Business Analysts. Assists with end user support and enhancements. Provides billing/finance support for monthly/quarterly closes. SQL Server with emphasis on Stored Procedure development - minimum 4 years. Stored Procedure performance tuning - minimum 3 years.
