*Responsibilities*:
1. Participate in software and system testing projects of small/medium
scope that require basic documentation and project management skills, and
participate in larger projects to drive proactive quality and safety
throughout the organization.
2. Create black box system test cases from a patient's perspective.
3. Perform tests and document their execution.
4. Identify any anomalies, document the detailed steps to reproduce, and
verify the corrections.
5. Produce reports to summarize the test results.
6. Use knowledge of national and international requirements and standards
such as FDA QSR Part 820, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and
others.
7. Less than 10% travel may be required in order to receive training and
continue development.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*:
*Experience or training in system test design and system test strategies.
*Experience or training in software test design.
*0-1 Yars with B.S., additional education may be considered in lieu of
experience.
*Verbal and written communication skills.
*Computer skills including use of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
*Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and react quickly to
changing priorities.
*Desired Qualifications*:
*System performance and system stress testing experience.
*RF communications testing experience.
*Experience with testing of local area network system.
*Experience with testing of Web application.
*Background in software development, through experience or education.
*Recent medical device industry experience.
*Working knowledge of FDA QSR's, ISO-9001 and/or ISO-13485.
*Knowledge of clients product requirements.
*Knowledge of clients processes.
