Position:Business Analyst Duration:6+months Location:Nashville,TN Rate:$45/hr on Corp 2 Corp Job description: The E-Commerce/Multi-Channel Business Analyst is the main liaison between IT and the E-Commerce/Multi-Channel business. The position responsibilities include understanding E-Commerce systems and strategic direction and guiding the E-Commerce/Multi-Channel business unit through the company wide IT project prioritization process. The E-Commerce/Multi-Channel Business Analyst is also responsible for the development of Business Cases, Business and Functional Requirements for systems development, ensuring business unit resources are scheduled for participation in required IT related activities, assisting in the development of test plans and test cases and communicates with users and senior business unit management the status of IT activities and services. We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of: *Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, computer science, management information systems or telecommunications and a minimum of 5-7 years related work experience; Demonstrated Business Analyst skills; Business analysts skills to include Business Case and Business requirements development; proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software, system and hardware solutions, systems, or products in multi-state customer service operations; IT development experience preferred. Retail Experience preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. * Displays high level of understanding of database software, hardware, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies and applications. E-Commerce experience preferred. Displays excellent analytical, mathematical, creative problem solving, communication, written and oral communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail. Ability to conduct research into system issues and products as required. Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user friendly language. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
