(v8.1.7, 8.1.6/8.1.5) and 8 viz. (v8.0.4/8.0.5). - Configure and maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) v2.2. · Install OEM Grid Control, configure and maintain it. - Upgrade Oracle database from the older versions to the latest supported version. - Migrate other databases such as DB2, Sybase, MS SQL Server to Oracle. - Install and configure RMAN with and without Recovery Catalog on Oracle 8/8i/9i/10g. - Monitor and optimise the database performance through database, system and SQL tuning. - Execute database performance tests to simulate the application load on the database. - Apply Oracle patches that involve security patches / bug fixes in non-production and production environments. - Drive logical and physical design of databases. Collaborate with the Engineering team in data modelling, conceptual design and data architecture design. - Develop and support database maintenance scripts. - Develop and maintain database design and support documentation. *Required Skills:* - Must have at least 5 years experience in Oracle Database Administration of 9i/10g/11g R2 - ORACLE ENTERPRISE MANAGER 9.2.0 - Oracle 10g GRID, - QUEST SOFTWARE (5.0) database tools - PL/SQL - SQL*PLUS - Oracle RAC - Oracle DataGuard - Oracle Streams - Toad 8.6 - RMAN backup - Experience in TOAD. Export and Import of Databases. - Experience in writing procedures, functions, triggers and packages in Oracle database server using PL/SQL. - Strong scripting using bash, ksh, perl, etc… - Excellent communication skills.
