Duration: 6 months + *The UI / Front-End developer is responsible for creating or modifying existing CSS, HTML and custom visual components, and will work to apply the concepts as represented in the visual design comps. The UI developer is not responsible for creating the visual design concepts, but rather implementing them in SharePoint. The UI developer will work collaboratively with the SharePoint Development team to apply the visual design to custom components using best practices.* * * *SKILLS:* *- Experience with implementing SharePoint 2007 and 2010 visual design customizations for both SharePoint Publishing Sites and Collaboration Sites* *- SharePoint 2010 and 2007 CSS customization experience* *- HTML * *- JavaScript and JQuery experience * *SAMPLE TASKS THAT A UI (FRONT END) DEVELOPER WOULD DO: Sharepoint* ● Integrated visual design requirements into UI prototypes. ● Developed custom master pages in SharePoint Designer for branding SharePoint sites. ● Customized site themes, CSS, Dynamic Navigation Controls, and Sitemap etc for Web Interface development. ● Developed custom page layouts. ● Developed and implemented the Dynamic Horizontal & Vertical Menu using CSS and JavaScript. ● UI customizations that leverage AJAX, and jQuery. ● Documented “how to” guide for UI Developers to maintain and extend UI customizations the sites.
