Job Role: Informatica PowerCenter administrator. Duration: 6 months + Location: Somerset, NJ Interview Mode: Telephonic+ F2F Job Description: This position is for an Informatica PowerCenter administrator. The individual will work in an ETL shared services environment, performing various internal projects. Responsibilities: • Integrate PowerCenter with LDAP (Active Directory) in all environments. This includes analyzing the groups in native security to determine what groups are needed in Windows. • Develop an automated process for recertifying PowerCenter ids according to company process • Set up PowerCenter 9.0.1 testing environment using repository from 8.6.0 development environment and monitor testing • Design and develop deployment group automation including backout Position requirements: • Must have administrator experience with Powercenter 9.0.1 on Unix (AIX preferred) • Must have experience integrating LDAP with PowerCenter (preferably for 8.1.1 or a later version) • Must have knowledge of PowerCenter security architecture in V9.0.1 • Must have experience with MX Views, repository tables and the domain • Must have experience writing shell scripts • Must have experience writing SQL against Oracle and UDB databases • Must have experience using command line interface (ex: infa commands) and using in shell scripts • Must have used deployment groups in either a team based development or non team based development environment • Experience with IBM DB2 UDB V9 or Oracle 10g a plus • Experience with Maestro a plus Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
