More info on this role from client:

We are basically an INTEGRATOR that takes these types of IP and integrates
them into our products. We do the APPLICATION development not the
algorithms. We need people that have worked on a SET TOP BOX (STB) or
consumer electronics, broadcast equipment.

For instance, we buy an ASIC and some application software with the ASIC and
put together with an FPGA to make a system.

Our products consist of a controller, input and output boards, decoder, or
transcoder or modulator in between.

We buy decoder, transcoder, modulator hardware, and surround these with
FPGA’s to control (user interfaces such as GUI, web, button pushing), parse
transport streams, and then put back together with new information (closed
captioning, metadata, etc.) and send out.

We utilize ASI, IP, RF (8VSB, QAM) for inputs, and pass through the
transport streams, and send out HD, HDSDI, composite video, Dolby audio,
PCM, etc. out.

We do this on MPEG1/2/4, DVB-S/S2 satellite, 8VSB and other RF inputs.
