*Work Location: Austin, TX* * * *Duration: 6 Months* * * *Phone interview* *Sharepoint Developer:* Currently Client has a secured web based extranet platform using SharePoint 2007 and wants a new web application that will provide businesses in the community secure access to resumes of job ready consumers statewide, marketing tools, and general information about Client and Client’s Division for Blind Services. It also will provide information to consumers about Clients services. The following describes the services an awarded vendor could be asked to provide while working with the Client’s Programs staff and Clients Information Resources (IR) Web Administration and Application and Development & Support Team in developing and maintaining a new SharePoint 2007 web application. The Scope-of-Work will be refined and augmented based on input from the awarded vendor. The Scope-of-Work could include, but is not limited to the following tasks listed below. The analysis, decision making, and documentation activities shall be developed with assistance and input from key DARS management and technical and other parties deemed appropriate by Client and Client’s IR through meetings facilitated by the awarded vendor. · Create new master page for site, and develop page layouts for all new employer and consumer web application pages. · Develop custom SharePoint list, content types and site columns that will store employer and consumer application information. These applications shall adhere to DARS-DRS/DBS and DARS IR standards utilizing Client IR standardized architecture. · Ensure site access adheres to Client password security policies. · Web site is section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliant. · Participating in a minimum of five teleconferences or in-person meetings with Client and DBS team between date of contract and October 31, 2011; · Participating in a minimum of one teleconference or in-person meeting with Client Senior Management Team between date of contract and October 31, 2011; · Participating in a minimum of one teleconference or in-person meeting with Client management/Information Technology staff between date of contract and October 31, 2011; · Delivery of draft of site no later than September 31, 2011 with live launch of site no later than November 1, 2011. II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 4 Experience in SharePoint application development, specially developing Sharepoint 2007 and 2010 web applications. * * 4 Experience in .Net application development. Java application development a plus 2 Experience in HTML, CSS, Jquery, XSLT, and JavaScript. 2 Expertise in Sharepoint 2007 and 2010 Administration and Configuration Demonstrated Experience SQL Server databases Strong Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting Degree or Equivalent BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required * * * Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience Demonstrated Experience Knowledge of Texas HB2819, Section 508 and WCAG guidelines for accessibility.
