Description: The SQL Developer is responsible for creating multi-dimensional cubes used in support of BI functions for our client. A solid understanding of SSAS as well as SQL 2000/2005/2008 is needed. Key Responsibilities: -- Solid skills with Microsoft BI stack -- Strong experience with SSAS, especially designing cubes and developing MDX queries using SQL 2005 and 2008 -- Experience with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS desired --Display a working knowledge of Database Management Systems, including both legacy DBMS’s and relational/SQL DBMS’s -- Exposure to GUI tools or other front-end technology -- Exposure to multiple Database Management Systems, with exposure to SQL based DBMS’s a plus -- Ability to write solid documentation that supports the coding and project management effort -- Good communication and interpersonal skills Key Requirements: -- Five (5) years of database architecture and database design -- Five (5) years of data analysis, construction and testing -- Strong knowledge of SSAS and Cube development based upon specific data requirements -- Strong knowledge of various ETL processes needed to import data from different data sources -- Experience with SQL 2000/2005/2008 * Thanks for your time!
