*Java OBIEE Developer*
Duration: *1 Year*
Location: *Falls Church, VA*

*Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities:
*
Successful candidate will be a Mid-Level Software Developer who designs,
develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business
requirements. Following approved life cycle methodologies, the incumbent
creates design documents, performs program coding and testing, and resolves
technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Selected
candidate will:
- Interact with the Business Analyst and Technical Lead to understand
requirements.
- Develop wire frames, layouts, skinning and mock ups to meet requirement
specifications.
- Develops frameworks, technology justifications.
- Develop technical design specifications.
- Develop Java and J2EE based web applications.
*Minimum Requirements: *
- BS degree in computer science or a related field and 5 years of related
experience.
- 5 years of progressively responsible IT Experience in J2EE middleware
integration technologies.
- 3 years experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition,
including familiarity with OBIEE presentation layer as well as Admin layers
of OBIEE skill sets, including:
- OBIEE Administration experience supporting multiple environments.
- OBIEE RPD Development Building Custom applications and not just
Oracle or Siebel Verticals.
- OBIEE Web Catalog Development - not just taking the out box
verticals but building custom application.
- OBIEE Server Configuration Knowledge of the log files, CSS Files,
and troubleshooting server issues.
- Experience designing and implementing interactive reports, scorecards
and dashboards on the business intelligence platform proposed by the
Vendor. This experience should include modeling of multiple hierarchies,
aggregates, measures and data level security.
- Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements
for implementation by technical staff. This developer should be capable of
analyzing existing reports and scorecards to identify the key business
questions addressed, and working with report authors, consumers and
technical staff to discover the required inputs, formulas and business
rules.
- A good working knowledge of Oracle versions 10g or later. This
developer should be able to demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and
best practices for business intelligence.
*Desired Qualifications:*
- Prior JCAPS B2B (eXchange) experience
- Oracle B2B experience
- HL7 data models
