*Position: System Engineer/Mechanical Engineer * Location: Detroit MI Duration: 6+ months Tool Skill: Unigraphics –Proficient in *Wire Harness Design, Modeling, Assembly and Detailing* Mentor Graphics tool – hands on PDM – Teamcenter Engineering application *Job details:* • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (*MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint*) • Basic knowledge of major automotive subsystems • Basic knowledge of *electrical and electronic circuit operation* • Ability to coordinate and complete tasks per a release schedule • Ability to identify non-compliance to standards and resolve the issue • High level of analytical ability where problems are unique and complex • Ability to proactively suggest improvements in work methodology • Experience with Wire harness tools, Mentor Graphics, or other schematic capture tool • Experience with OEM wire harness design standards • Experience using the following tools: *Vector CANDela Studio, IBM Rational Change, IBM Rational Synergy, IBM Rational Rhapsody, IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Team Concert* • Experience in SPICE -- Thanks Raj TekShapers Inc.
