*Duration: 18 Months* * * *Location: NYC* * * *Client------Financial/Trading* * * *Preferred: Citizens //Green Card Holder/ GC EAD* *MUST HAVE INVESTMENT BANKING SKILLS* Main Duties/Responsibilities: Ø Software Development according to given Technical Specification Ø Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within technology environments Ø Contribute to the technical code documentation Ø Design, develop, and implement frameworks Ø Implement fixes and enhancements Ø Create Test Plans, Test Cases and perform unit and integration testing Ø Perform Performance Tuning / Testing on application code Ø Support existing applications Ø Involved in full life cycle of project • For incidents and user inquiry to be able to understand the nature of the problem from business point of view, or if the issue is IT related – from the technology side using one or more of the following technologies: Java, JSP, UNIX, Oracle DB • Work with offshore development team and co-ordinate development tasks. Qualifications: Ø Development Skills: o Must be very good in Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Weblogic 10.3 o Having good knowledge about Log4J, Ajax, XML, Ant, Unix Shell Scripts Ø Design Skills: o Experience designing complex financial application, Knowledge of Design Patterns Ø Databases: o Oracle, Oracle PL SQL, Building Stored Procedure Ø Desirable having experience with JRules Rules Engine or experience with any other rules engine, Cruise Controls, JUnit Ø Experience with Basel Systems will be a plus.
