Position:Business Technical Analyst Location:Houston,TX Duration: 1+Year MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 2+ years experience in the wholesale or retail electric energy industry supporting business customers such as the energy trading floor, energy power marketing, energy retail, and/or energy risk management. Looking for someone who understands business operations and processes for these groups. BS degree or equivalent experience required. 5+ years experience in a technical business analyst role working with developers and technical IT resources. 1+ years experience working with iterative style development life cycles such as rapid application development, extreme programming, or agile development. PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 2+ years experience working with an Independent System Operator (ISO) STRONGLY preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for driving business and functional requirements to enough technical details for developers to be able to write application code during an enterprise application development project. Interact daily with business user community (Risk Group), developers, and managers to support the application and resolve issues.
