Peoplesoft Administrator / DBA Location: Boston, MA Duration: 8 Months Rate: $55 per/hr on 1099/C2C IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!! Applications Developer Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6 Months Rate: $55 per/hr on 1099/C2C IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!! Individuals should possess DBA “lead” experience with large organizations, which have implemented self-service PeopleSoft applications to a large user population. The initial duration of this contact assignment is for a 8.5 month period. POSITION OVERVIEW: • Provide project applications DBA support for the rollout of new modules and functionality • Provide DBA technical support and guidance to the project team • Actively participate in the design of the architecture to support a large self-service user population • Provide PeopleSoft Administrator support to the project team, covering all layers of the application • Participate and provide guidance during the Load Testing phase of the project • Monitor performance and provide performance tuning recommendations • Recommend, implement and support processes and procedures to aid the overall project team REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience): • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 • Experience supporting and administering multiple PeopleSoft Oracle databases as an Oracle DBA • Experience performing Oracle performance monitoring and tuning tasks • PeopleSoft Administrator for all layers of the PeopleSoft architecture • Experience designing the architecture to support a large self-service user population • Ability to interact with all management levels of State government • Experience with large organizations (50,000+ employee populations) • Proven verbal and written communication skills • Experience leading internal focus groups for gathering requirements ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience Thanks!
