*Location:* Louisville , KY *Duration:* 3 Months *The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the technical enhancements & new features for custom developed Merchant Servicing Systems, enhancing & supporting them as necessary to meet business goals. You will be a member of our Jeffersonville software development team. This team has technical ownership of all Merchant Servicing Systems.* *Primary Responsibilities/Objectives:* *You will work on the full life-cycle software development of both our web based application as well as our non -web applications. You will gather requirements, design high quality software solutions, skillfully leverage software patterns, implement code & unit tests with other developers, participate in peer review, test, release to the live environment, & maintain the application, all using an agile & iterative methodology in a collaborative environment. You also may be involved in converting existing applications written in VB/VBScript/ASP to C#/ASPX.* * *** *Required Skills & Experience* *A thorough understanding of Object Oriented analysis & design, & patterns * *Fluent & live production experience with VS.NET/ASPX * *Microsoft .Net 2.0, 3.5 experience * *Experience with Java * *Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/T-SQL * *Experience with web services. * *Project management experience, ability to work directly with internal customers/project owners * *Strong communication skills * *Web, e-mail, & Internet savvy* *Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually* *Data Modeling* *Person needs to be outgoing & willing to be a part of a team & collaborative environment. Must have the ability to speak up & express concerns/give input on projects.
