Position:Lotus Notes Adminstrator Location:Winston Salem,NC Duration:6+months* *Description: To design, administer, maintain and support the Lotus Notes environment on an Intel platform Installing, configuring, patching, maintaining and fully owning the entire Messaging environment. Messaging environment includes - Lotus Notes, BlackBerry, Good, IronMail, Securemail, McAfee, TLS, security, account maintenance, etc. Experience implementing BlackBerry solutions for multiple domains Provision BBs, users, policies Manage server to include patches, upgrades Troubleshoot connectivity issues Routing and configuration to support multiple domains within the infrastructure and on shared hardware (ie: virtual hosting) Experience with SPAM filtering with McAfee a plus (IronMail secure mail delivery) Experience with Secure mail delivery with McAfee a plus (IronMail secure mail delivery) Ensure proper flow of e-mail Ensure proper replication of databases between internal/external Notes Servers Create and maintain Notes ID's Maintain ID files, i.e. re-certify, re-issue, etc as well as perform necessary audits for SOX and Internal Audit standards. Monitor overall environment for proactive maintenance and monitoring Responsible for installation of Notes Database systems on production servers and distribution to remote servers and offices Maintain Lotus Notes security. Perform capacity analysis and plan for future growth. Perform upgrades as needed on Server hardware, Server OS, Notes software and other supported messaging platforms Ensure proper backups of Servers. Restore files as needed. Evaluate new versions of NOTES and make recommendations regarding their usage. Serve as resource for projects related to NOTES/DOMINO, for new applications to be installed and for security issues. Manage Notes/Domino server disk space. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Provide technical assistance (hardware and software). Provide customer support. Ability to manage and coordinate projects related to Lotus Notes and other supported messaging platforms Train support staff on all related Notes issues. Assist Development team with implementation of their systems into Notes environment. Manage SMTP mail gateway processes. Experience setting up and maintaining TLS accounts, and helping customers setup their TLS accounts Experience with Lotus Development such as Lotus Script, Agent build/modify, Other duties as assigned by manager.* *KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, EXPERIENCE and MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED State the minimum formal education and years of work experience required to satisfactorily perform the position's duties. Include specific educational requirements and list any positions which may lead to this position. 5 years Lotus Notes Administration Experience versions 6.x and above required 2 years Lotus Notes Administration Experience version 8.5 4 years Lotus Notes development experience In depth knowledge of Windows server 2003 environment Strong organizational skills. Ability to create and maintain documentation for process, procedures and business recovery Effective communication and problem solving skills.
