**Title : Web Methods Developer Location: New York, NY Duration: 6 month Contract OVERVIEW: This position is for a webMethods Developer with strong database knowledge, primarily responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of all webMethods interfaces. RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand user requirements and propose and design technical solutions to meet them Create design documentation and test plans Code, test, and implement interfaces that solve business problems Provide production support for webMethods interfaces and environments Perform problem determination and troubleshooting activities Perform webMethods Configuration/Administration tasks Maintain accurate and complete tracking of all issues QUALIFICATIONS: webMethods version 7 or above (Integration Server, Broker, MWS, Adapters) design and development, webMethods certified preferred Solid understanding of B2B and SOA framework Experience with XML, SOAP standards Good understanding of security standards such as WS Security, Digital Certificates, SSL etc. Good knowledge of SQL and Transact-SQL for writing stored procedures and triggers desired Demonstrated experience with full life cycle development (Unit testing, User acceptance testing, Software Configuration Management etc) Experience using any issues tracking software (Bugzilla etc.) Experience with Visual Source Safe desired Ability to work independently Excellent communication skills REQUIREMENTS: 5-8 years experience in software development. 3-5 years of webMethods Development experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in the apparel and/or retail industries preferred. Possession of superior problem solving skills. Disciplined in the creation and use of formal SDLC documentation including functional requirements documentation, design documentation, and test plans.
