Position:Java Developer Location:Princeton, NJ Duration:12+months* *Work Summary The candidates filling this Senior Developer position will be responsible for working with Data Migration Teams and Software Development Teams in the refinement and support of the data migration applications that are being utilized to automate migration activities. The candidate will use Java technologies, database technologies, XML technologies to build upon the current migration platform to increase the automation and efficiency of data migrations. The candidate must possess extensive work experience in J2EE/ Java, Oracle, Spring Framework, Hibernate, XML, XML Schemas, PL/ SQL, TOAD, SQLDeveloper, stored procedures, triggers, etc. JBoss, Eclipse, Design Patterns, JSF. The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving/ troubleshooting skills and work well under tight timelines and in a close team work environment. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for: Participating in software design, migration team, and related meetings. Applying industry standard analysis, architecture, and development techniques to software development activities Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting code that is applied to the migration process. Demonstrating strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills. Executing all migration activities: requirements and analysis, data extraction, validation, etc. Interacting with other areas within ETS to provide automated migration expertise and direction. Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using the following technologies: J2EE/ Java Oracle XML, XML Schemas PL/ SQL TOAD, SQLDeveloper Analytical and problem-solving/ troubleshooting skills – Stored procedures, triggers, etc JBoss, Eclipse Design Patterns Nice to have – JSF ( Java Server Faces ) Nice to have - Spring Framework Nice to have – Hibernate Strong: interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties.
